Tasman Bay Olives Limited was established in 1998 as the vehicle for processing and marketing the olives produced from three groves in the Nelson region of New Zealand.

2008 was a year of great activity for all staff at Tasman Bay Olives. Highlights include :
· More medals at the Annual Olives New Zealand Awards in October
· Development of our own olive harvesters (click here for more)
· 2008 pressing was a record 84 tonnes with some Frantoio olives yielding 26% oil, also another record for the company
· Every indication as of January 2009 is for another excellent crop

The following medals were awarded at the Olives New Zealand Annual Awards 2008:

Gold medal ELOVI – Frantoio
Silver medal ELOVI – Frantoio/Leccino blend
Bronze medal ELOVI – Leccino single cultivar

Retail Shop

Our retail outlet adjacent to our production site at Hortons Road in Tasman, Nelson, is where all ELOVI products are available, plus more. All customers, including tour groups, are encouraged to visit year round, but particularly during June and July when the press is operating. A viewing window provides an excellent vantage point of the press without the noise.
